I’ve never really been a fan of red.
While I do appreciate the drama the color offers, I tend to prefer softer visuals in my home. I like colors that hail from the same side of the color wheel, similar in weight and vibrance, and generously balanced by a range of neutrals.
Still, I also recognize that many people cannot get on board with offbeat color palettes, particularly for a holiday that has a traditional color story baked in.
So while I’m off loving blue and white chinoiserie one year, blush pink with gold another, and a plethora of brown shades yet another, they reliably pull out their trove of red and green decor, season after season.
